1. Two-way street(idiom)- a reciprocal situation.
Eg- This is a two-way street, you know. You will have to help me someday in return.

2. Green card(noun) - (in the US) a permit allowing a foreign national to live and work permanently in the US.

3. Immigration(noun)- the action of coming to live permanently in a foreign country
Eg- Indian software companies are acting like immigration agents.

4. Please(verb) - cause to feel happy and satisfied
Sy- delightful,satisfying

5. Murmer(noun/verb) - a low continuous background noise
Eg- Industry murmurs against his words are understandable.

6. Discreet- careful, politic,diplomatic
Eg- Maintain a discreet silence where there is room for doubt or controversy

7. Room- free space

8. League(noun) - a collection of people, countries, or groups that combine for mutual protection or cooperation
Eg-Mr Murthy is not in that league

9. Veteren(noun)- a person who has had long experience in a particular field
Eg- two cheers to the veteran’s words

10. Premium- something given as a reward, prize, or incentive
Eg- in an industry where talent is at a premium, foreign postings are considered plum for both money and prestige.

11. Plum- a thing, typically a job, considered to be highly desirable

12. Prestige- widespread respect and admiration felt for someone or something
Sy- status, fame, reputation

13. Slog(verb/noun)- work hard over a period of time.
Sy- labour, effort, struggle
Eg- "they were slogging away to meet a deadline"

17. Wrongdoer(noun)- a person who behaves illegally or dishonestly; an offender.
Sy- offender,convict, culprit
Eg- "they need to punish wrongdoers"

18. Legitimate (adj)- conforming to the law or to rules
Sy- legal,
Eg- "his claims to legitimate authority"
